Our successful Jewish learning/discussion series "Topics on Tap" moves outdoors for the summer! Join us for 5 Wednesdays in July for "Topics on Turf" in Rittenhouse Square, where we invite talented and dynamic educators from around Philadelphia to present innovative Jewish topics.

This week we will be joined by JT Waldman of the Jewish Publication Society, who will talk with us about Jews and Comic Books.

JT Waldman is the writer and illustrator of JPS' Megillat Esther. He is also the creative director/project manager of the JPS Tagged Tanakh. He has a broad range of professional experience that crosses Jewish education and the non-profit sector. He has previously worked with organizations like Marvel Comics, GenArt, Zeros to Heroes, and Red Bull, as well as Elat Chayyim, USY and Alex Muss High School in Israel. JT enjoys learning, and has studied at the University of Michigan, the Liberal Yeshiva in Jerusalem, the University of Seville, and the Vancouver Film School.
